1. Bihar

Rafay Eajaz Hussain is the State Convener for PHRN Bihar. He is presently employed with ICICI Centre for Child Health & Nutrition (ICCHN). He holds an MSW from Delhi School of Social Work, an M. Phil from Centre for Social Medicine & Community Health, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Mr. Khan has extensive experience of work in various front ranking organizations Micronutrient Initiative, Child in Need Institute. He has also been intensely involved with various community activities. Constantly in pursuit of knowledge, Mr. Khan is currently pursuing his PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Rafay Eajaz Hussain
Arun Kumar is working as Senior Programme Coordinator in PHRN Bihar. He holds Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development from Xavier Institute of Social Services Ranchi. Arun Kumar has extensive experience of working in the health sector, mainly in Bihar and Jharkhand with agencies such as Family Planning Association of India (FPAI), Shantidoot, Population foundation of India etc.

Priyanka Kumari joined PHRN in January 2012. She completed her Masters in Social Work from Department of Social Work, Delhi University in 2010 and is pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights Law from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. During her Masters she was placed with Parivartan, a program started by Delhi Police to combat violence against women and SATHI (Society for Assistance to Children in Difficult Situation). blank

2. Chhattisgarh

Sulakshana Nandi has been involved with the Public Health Resource Network (PHRN) since its conception. She is the State Convenor for PHRN Chhattisgarh, where she has been working for the last six and a half years. She has been actively associated with several leading campaigns in the state like Jan Swasthya Abhiyan (as state convenor), Right to Food Campaign etc. especially in facilitation, training and technical (including legal) support to tribal organizations on issues of the right to health and food.
Ms Nandi holds a Master of Arts in Social Work from Jamia Millia Islamia. She has extensively worked in Rajasthan and MP in areas of women’s rights and SHG based women’s organizations etc Some of her  publications include Mitanin’s struggles to reform PDS and to fight state sponsored ‘deforestation’ and Addressing Women’s Concerns in NRHM. Etc.
Sulakshana Nandi
Kanica Kanungo joined PHRN, Chhattisgarh as a Program Coordinator in September 2011. She has completed MBA- Health and Hospital Management from Jamia Hamdard Deemed University, New Delhi. Earlier she was employed at GlobalData, Hyderabad. The work there mainly involved analysis of the treatment options for specific diseases and their epidemiological aspects. During her post-graduation internship, she worked with PHRN on the implementation of Rashtiya Swasthya Bima Yojna (RSBY) in Chhattisgarh. Her interests lie in inter-disciplinary research and issues concerning maternal and child health.  

Prakash Sharma has joined PHRN as an accountant. He had completed his B Com and is pursuing his M com (Final Year) from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. He has completed Diploma in Computer Application. He is well versed in the use of Tally and MS Excell applications. Before joining PHRN, he was working in an Audit Firm   C P Kunte & Co. in Raipur, Chhattisgarh where he worked for 4 years.

3. Jharkhand

Dr. Pallipamula Suranjeen Prasad is the State Convener of Public Health Resource Network, Jharkhand. Dr. Prasad has an MD in Community Medicine from Christian Medical College, Vellore. As a Unit Coordinator at CINI-Jharkhand, Dr. Prasad is involved in programmes that include Communitisation, Life Cycle Approach to Reproductive and Child health, HIV/AIDS and education to deprived children.
Earlier as consultant to CINI-Jharkhand, he lead a team to  prepare the operational Guidelines, training material, BCC Strategy and MIS for the Government’s Sahiyya Programme in 6 districts (34 blocks) and prepared technical guidelines for the entire state.

Pallipamula Suranjeen Prasad

Haldhar Mahto has been working PHRN Jharkhand as a Senior Programme Coordinator since its inception. Haldhar has a multidisciplinary background – a M.Sc. in Chemistry followed by a M.Sc. in NGO Management, Policy and Administration from London School of Economics and Political Science. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development, Xavier Institute of Social Services.
He has been a Ford foundation Fellow. He is an active member of a number of front ranking civil society organizations in the state.

Haldhar Mahto

Shampa Roy has been working as a Programme Coordinator in PHRN Jharkhand. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development from Xavier Institute of Social Services, Ranchi (XISS). Earlier, she has worked with several organizations like Jharkhand Tribal Development Society (as Community Development Programme Officer), Council for Advancement of Peoples Action and Rural Technology (CAPART) as “Young Professional, Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra, Hazaribagh as a Co-coordinator of the CREDIT programme.

Shampa Roy

Rajesh Sriwastwa joined PHRN as a Programme Coordinator in May 2011. He is a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Health Management from Xavier Institute of Social Sciences. Rajesh has several years of experience in the development sector. He worked for six years with the Jharkhand Tribal Development Society as a Training Coo-ordinator and has also worked on issues relating to women’s empowerment and child labour.

Rajesh Sriwastwa

Niraj Kumar Shrivastava has completed his B.Com (Accounts Honours) and a Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. Before joining PHRN Chhattisgarh as Accountant, he was involved in Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (Jharkhand).

4. Orissa

Dr. Madan Mohan Pradhan is the State Convenor of PHRN Orissa. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Epidemiology from National Institute of Epidemiology, ICMR and PGC in Health and Family Welfare from National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi.  
Presently he is working as M & E consultant to Malaria Control Programme in Orissa.  Earlier, he has served the state in various capacities. He was also the State Coordinator, Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samithi Delhi (on deputation from Orissa Govt). Dr. Pradhan is also associated with several civil society organizations and networks. Currently, he is the state convener of the Public Health Resource Network of Orissa chapter and vice president of PHRN.

Satya Narayan Patnaik (Chhavi) has been working as Programme Coordinator PHRN Orissa since its inception. He holds a Master’s in Commerce degree and is also pursuing MBA. Chhavi has quite a lot of experience of working with various leading organizations and campaigns like AIPSN/BGVS, Jana Swasthya Abhiyan etc., involving issues like literacy, health, gender, empowerment, and livelihood.
He was also extensively involved in managing major disaster management programmes including the super cyclone social reconstruction project in the District of Jagatsinghpur which was worst affected in the 1999 Super cyclone.

5. Rajasthan

Rahul Bansiwal is the Program Coordinator for PHRN Rajasthan. He did his post Graduation Diploma in Health Management from IHMR Bangalore. Mr. Rahul has experience in implementing RCH and Nutrition based program with government and UN agencies at various levels.
